About Us

A Legacy of Strength in the Heart of Rustenburg

More than 75 years of dual-medium learning, community pride, and the promise of Worstel en Wen.

Who We Are

Founded more than 75 years ago, Laerskool Rustenburg‑Noord — known to the Department of Basic Education as Rustenburg‑Noord Primary School — has grown into one of the largest primary schools in Rustenburg, North West.

Today we welcome around 1,500 learners guided by more than 45 dedicated educators. Every child who walks through our gates on Johnson Street becomes part of the Nory family — a community bound together by our motto, Worstel en Wen (“Strive and Win”).

It is a promise that with effort, discipline and care, every learner can achieve their personal best, both in the classroom and far beyond it.

“Every Nory who leaves our care should carry two things with them — a love of learning, and the confidence to worstel en wen through whatever life brings. We are honoured to walk that journey together with our parents and community.”
